INFORMACIÓN ;)
The weather
In September, Llafranc enjoys pleasant weather with daytime temperatures around 25°C (77°F) and nighttime temperatures around 15°C (59°F).
How best to travel to Llafranc?
The nearest major airport is Girona-Costa Brava Airport (GRO), about 50 km away (45 min by car). From there, you can rent a car or take a taxi or bus to Llafranc. Alternatively, Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) is about 130 km away (1.5hr drive) offering more international flights.
Should I rent a car in Llafranc?
While Llafranc is a small town and can be explored on foot, renting a car is recommended if you plan to visit nearby attractions or towns, as public transportation options are limited. There are NO ubers or other taxi apps available in these small coastal towns.
Sometimes, it really is cheaper to rent a car and have it parked at the hotel/house you are staying at than hiring a taxi to and from the airport.
Are there things around Llafranc I can do & see?
Claro que si! Of course! Check out the ‘Things to Do’ tab at the top of our website. We’ve collected some of our favorites.
Can I bring my kids?
While we love all your kiddos, we ask that you leave your little ones at home on Friday and Saturday. However they are more than welcome to join us for the Beach Day on Sunday!
Will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue?
Yes, we will arrange shuttle services from Llafranc to the wedding venue. Details will be provided closer to the date.
What should I wear to the wedding?
The wedding will be outdoors. For all attire questions, head to the ‘Events’ tab at the top of the page! And for some ideas to get your inspired, check out the ‘What to Wear’ tab ;)
Are there any local Spanish/Catalan customs we should be aware of?
Spanish culture is warm and welcoming. It's customary to greet people with a kiss (un beso!) on each cheek. Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory.
